ChargePilot® software packages

Depending on which of the software packages you booked – ECONOMY, BUSINESS or FIRST – in the individual categories, you will receive different functions for your ChargePilot® charging site. We thereby enable you to choose from various package options and give you an easy and cost-effective introduction to the intelligent control of your charging infrastructure. In case your requirements change, you can also change your booked package options at any time.

ChargePilot® Dashboard

The ChargePilot® dashboard packages have to be booked per account.

Dashboard ECONOMY

The access includes a light version of the ChargePilot Web Portal®. If you have booked the BUSINESS package in the Dashboard category, you can also use all the functions and views of the ECONOMY dashboard and receive the extended access – Dashboard Pro.

☑️ In the Dashboard ECONOMY package, you receive a ChargePilot® web portal access of the user group User (read more about our user groups and permissions here). This allows you to view the status of your controller and your charging points at the site, as well as error messages and a site load in your ChargePilot® Dashboard. You can also start, stop and restart your charge points in the Dashboard.

(warning) Whether you can prioritize charging points depends on the type of package you booked in the category Charge Management & Ecosystem.

❌ You will not receive an aggregated view across several locations. You also cannot use the Activities and Statistics sections, which enable downloads and reporting, in this package.

☑️ The ID Management section contains an overview of the IDs that can authenticate at your site. There you can add new IDS, make changes to existing RFDIs and delete IDs.

(warning) Whether you can prioritize IDs depends on the type of package you booked in the category Charge Management & Ecosystem.

☑️ You also have access to settings in the ECONOMY dashboard package. Here you can perform firmware updates and make location and charging station settings.

(warning) The scope of use of the settings depends on your booked package in the area of Charge Management & Ecosystem.

Dashboard BUSINESS

(plus) In addition to the dashboard, ID management and settings view from the ECONOMY package, Dashboard BUSINESS customers receive an extended range of functions from the ChargePilot® web portal. This additionally contains:

☑️ In the Dashboard BUSINESS package, you are entitled to an unlimited number of ChargePilot® web portal accesses. You can also freely select the user group (Viewer, User or Admin) (read more about our roles and permissions here). In addition to controller and charging point status, error messages and site utilization, you get two types of views: an aggregated, global view across multiple sites (see picture) and the detailed view of a site (as with ECONOMY).

(warning) Whether you can prioritize charging points here depends on the type of package you booked in the category Charge Management & Ecosystem.

☑️ The BUSINESS dashboard package allows you to view and download the data of all past charging processes – filtered by time period, ID or charging point. You can also view the behavior of individual charging processes in detail in the Activities section.

☑️ The BUSINESS dashboard package also opens up access to ChargePilot® Statistics for you. It shows you evaluations of your site over different periods of time and lets you make kW and amp accurate evaluations.

ChargePilot® Charge Management & Ecosystem

The ChargePilot® Charge Management & Ecosystem packages must be booked per site or controller.

Charge Management & Ecosystem ECONOMY

☑️ With the ECONOMY package in Charge Management & Ecosystem, ChargePilot® controls the charging of your vehicles statically by means of a fixed stored value or dynamically, i.e. depending on the building load or by integrating an energy management system, EMS for short (blue components in system architecture). There is also the option of controlling access to the charging points at the site using RFID cards.

No RFID cards or charging points can be prioritized. There is also no possibility of PV integration or interfaces to third-party systems.

Charge Management & Ecosystem BUSINESS

(plus) In addition to load management and access control via RFIDs from the ECONOMY package, BUSINESS customers receive an extended range of functions from the charging management & ecosystem.
This additionally contains:

☑️ With the BUSINESS package in Charge Management & Ecosystem, you extend the optimisation of your charging location: get the possibility to prioritize charging points and/or RFIDs for preferential charging and integrate your photovoltaic system into the ChargePilot Ecosystem.

Other interfaces such as OCPP Proxy and Rest API can also be used in the BUSINESS package. They enable the connection of third-party systems such as billing backends, energy management systems (EMS) and many more.

No schedules or time periods for energy tariffs can be stored to optimize the charging power. The interface to the grid operator is also not included.

Charge Management & Ecosystem FIRST

(plus) In addition to the functions and services of the BUSINESS package, FIRST customers receive an extended range of functions of the charging management & ecosystem.
This additionally contains:

☑️ The FIRST package in Charge Management & Ecosystem expands the functions for charging optimization: Reduce your limit in defined periods with time-based grid limits to take fluctuating energy tariffs into account and save costs, or let your distribution network operator control the charging power through grid-friendly charging in accordance with EnWG §14a. The FIRST package also allows you to save schedules for schedule-based load management.

ChargePilot® Service

The ChargePilot®Service packages have to be booked per site or controller.

Service ECONOMY

☑️ If you have booked the ECONOMY service package, you will enjoy our personal support service in the event of faults. The ChargePilot® support team is available by telephone from Monday to Friday (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). If you contact us by email (at any time), a ticket will automatically be created about your fault report and your matter will be taken care of promptly.

(warning) If a charging point user notices a fault, this must first be reported to your internal contact (Primary Site Contact). If the Primary Site Contact is unable to rectify the fault through their on-site measures, they will contact the ChargePilot® Support Team.

❌ In the ECONOMY service package, you will not receive any automated error messages about faults in the controller or charging station outside your ChargePilot® web portal. Nor does your site receive 24/7 system monitoring that detects and fixes potential faults before you do.

Service BUSINESS

(plus) In addition to the features and benefits of the ECONOMY package, BUSINESS customers receive more extensive support for their ChargePilot® charging location.
This additionally includes:

☑️ In addition to personal support, Service BUSINESS customers receive extended error management. It includes 24/7 remote support. If a fault occurs, immediate measures (remote start, stop and restart) are initiated for controllers and charging points. In this way, we rectify many faults before they delay your operation. If the fault is not rectified in this way, you will receive an automatic notification with possible on-site measures.

(warning) If a charging point user notices a fault, this must first be reported to your internal contact (Primary Site Contact). If the Primary Site Contact is unable to rectify the fault through their on-site measures, they will contact the ChargePilot® Support Team.

❌ In this package we do not offer Service Pro, which includes RFID card management as well as firmware management by TMH.

Service FIRST

(plus) In addition to the functions and services of the BUSINESS package, FIRST customers receive our Pro service for critical infrastructure.
This additionally contains:

☑️ In addition to a personal support contact, 24/7 monitoring and alert messages, Service FIRST customers also receive monthly error reports. The Mobility House also takes care of RFID card management and firmware updates for the charging hardware in this package..
