Charging Station Logs

In the event of a charging station fault, you have the option via the ChargePilot Web Portal to obtain logs of the charging station. This is often necessary, especially when communicating with the charging station manufacturer and in warranty cases.

This function is available to them in the following cases:

  • Your charging station supports the necessary OCPP message (GetDiagnostics).

  • Your charging station is online and available (many charging stations do not accept the request for OCPP logs during a charging process)

You can find the function in the settings, in the charging stations section. There you have the option to find the corresponding charging station via the search. Then click on the Charging Station Logs tab. If your charging station supports pulling logs, you will see a blue button for requesting logs. After requesting the logs, they will appear in the table for you to download. Please note that the time it takes for the logs to become available may vary depending on the size of the log file and your local internet connection.
