Connection to the charger

Charger connection

Connect to the charger cloud web portal

Login Data:
The charger can only be configured in Kempower’s portal (ChargeEye). The access to the portal needs to be applied via the ticket system.

Network settings

Ethernet

• Use the single port on the front side (9).
  The Switch on the backside is only for the satellites

• Mode for Ethernet configuration: DHCP

OCPP settings

Backend

• Connection type: Ethernet

• OCPP Mode: OCPP-J 1.6

• OCPP Backend URL: ws://172.22.0.1:9000

ChargeBox ID

• Serial number of the charger by default or according to the installation protocol

Other charger settings

Authorization settings

• Navigate to the Authorization tab

• Configure the Parameters as follows:

  • Authorization required to charge: true

  • Wait for authorization: true

  • RFID identification in use: true

Autocharge/Free charging settings

When this function is activated, charger starts transaction either with the identifier predefined in the charger, or with the EV MAC address (Plug & Charge).

• Navigate to the Authorization tab

• Configure the Parameters as follows:

  • Authorization required to charge: true

  • Wait for authorization: true

  • AutoCharge identification in use: true
