Keba | P30 x-series/Dienstwagen-Edition OCPP - Configuration for ChargePilot

Before starting the configuration, please check the charger firmware version complies with the latest compatible firmware version.

Remote connection to the charger

Connection to the charger

Local connection

  1. Open web server

  2. After reboot the IP-Address of the charger is shown in display

    1. Connect via switch to the same Network

    2. Check/adjust network settings on your PC

    3. Enter IP address of the charger in your web browser

  3. Login and go to settings

    1. The login credentials for the initial login to the web interface are provided on the configuration label. The configuration label is located in a bag that is included with the mounting materials. After the initial login, the password must be changed for security reasons.

Change the Password of the charger to a new password and store this password safely.

Remote connection

  1. Port forwarding can be used to access the web interface.

Autocharge/Free charging settings

When this function is activated, charger starts transaction either with the identifier predefined in the charger, or with the EV MAC address (Plug & Charge).

  • Set “Authorization” to OFF

  • Change the Predefined Token to PLUGANDCHARGE

Fallback settings

  • Settings in Charging Network are available above v1.13

    1. Failsafe charging current: 16 A (or other value)

  2. Apply changes

When offline charging is allowed, EV will charge with the failsafe current while the charger is offline

  • Deactivate dip switch 1.3 (Position = OFF)

  • Max Charge Current for Asymmetric Loads: 0
