Alpitronic | HYC - Configuration for ChargePilot

Before starting the configuration, please check the charger firmware version complies with the latest compatible firmware version.

Connection to the Charger

Local Connection

  1. Connect to the website via the standard IP

  2. Continue with the configuration

The used Laptop’s IP has to be in range 192.168.1.XX (except 100)

Authentication & First Connection to Web Interface

  1. On first connection to the web interface, you are presented with the prompt on the right.

  2. Log in via admin credentials

Username: admin
Password: charger MAC address

Preferred Network

  1. Change Default: Wired Connection

Ethernet Configuration

  1. Set IP-Configuration: Automatic DHCP

OCPP settings

Backend Configuration

  1. Set ChargePoint ID

    1. chargePointIdentity must be identiacal to the Device ID in the Admin UI. Default: charger serial number

  2. Set msgEnginetype: json

  3. Set Websocket URL: ws://172.22.0.1:9000/

  4. Save configuration

OCPP Keys

  1. Configure the parameters as follows:

    1. ChargePointMaxProfileEnabled: true

  2. Save configuration

  3. Reboot the charger

Authorization settings

  1. Configure the parameters as follows:

    1. AutoCharge: false

    2. HycKioskModeEnabled: false

  2. Save configuration

  3. Reboot the charger

Autocharge/Free charging settings

When this function is activated, charger starts transaction either with the identifier predefined in the charger, or with the EV MAC address (Plug & Charge).

Autocharge

  1. Set Autocharge: true

  2. The EV MAC address must be stored in the backend correspondingly

  3. Save configuration

  4. Reboot the charger

Free charging

  1. Set HycKioskModeEnabled: true

  2. Save the predefined identifiers in the backend: hycKioskTag1 , hycKioskTag2 , …
    The numbering must correspond to the number of connectors.

  3. Save configuration

If less than 3 IDs (= max. number of parallel charging session) are configured in the parameter HycKioskMofeTagIds, the charging station will use generic IDs: HycKioskTag1..n
